Every morning I see you walk in
I forget yesterday's memory of you.
As if it were only a distant wish
that I placed upon the evening stars.
Today you are the most beautiful
I am sure of this
Because I read each line on your eyelashes
and stopped on the mark set upon your lips
Your name comes from the land of dreaming
so since I met you I have no need for sleep
There is no reasons to build castles in the sand
when heaven is yours to keep
Every night, as you leave, I hold your silhouette
in hopes to let the moment linger
With it i could paint a thousand pictures
Though I may never find the right color
I hold my breath as your gaze drifts
and hope that time won't start too soon.
because you are the most beautiful on this day
but tomorrow, you will be more perfect than you are today.
